For real estate agents: What agency should I consider working for?
Posted on October 4th, 2009 4 commentsJules4 asked:
Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, RE/MAX, Century 21?
Or, perhaps a small local agency? I hope I’m not forgeting one, but I think you get the idea. If someone is starting in real estate or wants to progress and learn as much as possible about houses and the market where should they start?I’m just a little familiar w/ these agencies but still don’t know much.

Real Estate Agents/Realtors: This is for you. Answer if you have worked at both Century 21 and KellerWilliams?

I am currently enrolled in Real Estate school, but I am debating on which broker to get employed with. I am torn between Century 21 and Keller Williams. I need to know the pros/cons of being employed with either, so I need answers from realtors who’ve been employed with both of these companies. This will better assist me with making my final decision. All answers are appreciated.

Interviewing 2 real estate agents from the same company – why not?
Posted on July 10th, 2009 3 commentsSoliloquy asked:
All of the “How To” guides on the net suggest it is a bad idea to interview two real estate agents from the same company. Why is this? Does this mean that if I interview a Century 21 agent, I shouldn’t interview any other Century 21 agents at any other offices in town, or just at that particular office? Thanks for the help! (And no, I don’t need a realtor at this time.)

Which real estate companies are best for new agents?

I’m planning on getting my real estate agents license in the next few weeks. I’ve heard that Century 21 and some other companies have their own courses. Is it better to attend their course or just a regular local real estate school. Also what companies are good for new agents.Any advice you can give is appreciated! Thanks!
Oh and I’ll be getting my license in Tenessee.

How are new construction real estate agents paid? Only comission or salary too?
Posted on May 11th, 2009 1 commentChichi0521 asked:
I am currently working as a real estate agent for a nationwide company, Century 21. We are relocating and I am considering working in new construction because there is tons of new construction in the city where we’re moving. It seems like the agents sit all day in the office waiting for clients. They can’t go out and door knock or send mailers etc, as I do now as an agent. How do they ensure they get paid? What if no clients come in and they really can’t do anything proactive to get more clients. I have an interview soon so I’ll get more definite answers about pay, but I was just wondering and considering all my options so I can have a job lined up when we move. Thank you!
